    DOUG (Wombat)
    DOUG (Wombat)
Doug is the main character in BUSHY TALES. He came to "The Bluff" after escaping a big bush fire that destroyed his old home. He was readily accepted into his new home by all his weird and wacky neighbours. Doug sleeps too much, eats too much and drinks too much coffee. He's living the dream!

    RENOIR (Brush-Tail Possum)
    RENOIR (Brush-Tail Possum)
Renny likes to think of himself as something of a French impressionist artist (he gives the impression of being French but is as Aussie as they come). Renny also operates Renoir's French Restaurant....the only eatery at "The Bluff".
  4. COL
    COL (Koala)
    COL (Koala)
The koala is a true icon of the Aussie bush. Cute and cuddly and loved the world over. Col is a true friend to Doug.

  6. RUBY
    RUBY (Platypus)
    RUBY (Platypus)
The platypus is one of the most unique and unusual animals anywhere in the world. For many, it is a true puzzle of the animal kingdom. And for many, Ruby is a true puzzle of the BUSHY TALES strip. She lives in the creek below The Bluff.
  7. SUGAR
    SUGAR (Sugar Glider)
    SUGAR (Sugar Glider)
Sugar gliders are small, cute and very agile as they glide through the bush. Well, most of them, anyway. Sugar does the local mail run and newspaper drop...delivering lots of fun, but not much mail!
  8. FRANK & SHEILA
    FRANK & SHEILA (Bush Rats)
    FRANK & SHEILA (Bush Rats)
Frank and Sheila are the local bush rats. They are married...and are conclusive proof that rodent relationships are no different from human ones. Sheila has to put up with a lot being married to Frank, not least of which is the fact that he can't read.
  9. WOMBAT MAN
    WOMBATMAN
    WOMBATMAN
Doug the Wombat's quirky superhero alter-ego. Wombatman is well-intentioned but, sadly, is not all that effective as a superhero. He struggles with several distractions as he seeks to fight crime...sleep, food and coffee.
