PEARLY GATES has always been a unique comic strip, blending faith and fun together in such a way that promotes laughter and joy, but also provokes the mind…and heart.

The PEARLY GATES comic strip ran in mainstream newspapers around Australia and abroad for over 20 years. It was always Ian’s intention that the PG strip was to be “the good news part of what is often a bad-news paper”.
Good family humour, encouragement, inspiration, day-to-day life and, yes, even challenge are all part of the PEARLY GATES experience.

As a further extension of this experience, Ian then developed the PEARLY GATES BULLETIN SERVICE for church and school newsletters, comprising PG comic strips and clip art that could be used for bulletins and newsletters.
The PGBS continued to be a useful and popular tool for churches/schools wanting to bring some faith-based humour to their publications for over 30 years.
Originally a quarterly mailout service (first by post, then by email), the PGBS went out to hundreds of churches throughout Australia and several other countries around the world…perhaps you have seen it, and even used it, yourself!

The good news now is that the PGBS is back!...better and more readily accessible than ever!

We are not offering churches and schools a quarterly PGBS mailout service anymore….instead, we are offering full and anytime-access to more than a years’ worth of PG comic strips and pieces of clip art in one simple package....ready to download and use in your digital (and printed) publications.

For a one-time annual payment (for 2026) of just $25 AUD, churches and schools will have access on this website to 70 full-colour PG strips and 120 full-colour pieces of PG clip-art!
(Point of interest: This is more than the previous 4 quarterly mailouts included and without any cost increase!)

Every PG strip and piece of clip art is downloadable, at your time and convenience, for use as many times as you want, even after the 12 months subscription has passed.

(Please note that, at the end of 2026, all the strips and clip art will be removed from the website and a new batch of strips/clip art will be added ready for 2027 subscriptions.)

So…how do you take advantage of this exciting, renewed PGBS offer?  
Simply follow these few instructions.
When we have received notification of your payment we will send you the password to enable your unlimited access of this treasure trove of faith-based fun.

STEP 1.: Fill in the Subscription Form below and click on the Submit button.

STEP 2.: Checkout Form - Fill in the customer details. You are not required to have, or set up, a PayPal account (you can choose to use a card on a following page). Click on the button.
STEP 3.: Checkout/Payment Form - Click on the yellow PayPal Checkout button (this will take you to where you choose your method of payment (PayPal account or by Credit/Debit Card). 
STEP 4.: Choose to pay through your PayPal account (log in) or choose to Pay with a Card.

STEP 5.: Fill in the appropriate details and complete payment.
STEP 6.: You will then receive a Thank You notice and, subsequently, a confirmation through the PayPal system (even if paid by card).
STEP 7.: Once we receive notification of your successful payment, we will email you with the password that will give you access on the PGBS - resources page. Once you receive this password, you can access the PGBS - Resources page anytime you wish to for all of 2026.
